The U.S. Equal Employment Opportunity Commission recently issued a report that detailed the state of women in Federal science, technology, engineering, and mathematics (STEM) professions in the Federal government. Overall, women accounted for 29.3% of STEM Federal workers. Science occupations had the most (49,546), while math occupations in the Federal sector had the fewest number of women (6,469).

This briefing will hear from women in government who have built their careers in government and discuss how agencies can construct a welcoming and diverse working environment.
